“GENDER IDENTIFICATION, ROLES AND CONCEPTS IN GROUP ANALYSIS” International Conference

At the heart of the conference is the exploration of the conscious and unconscious expression of gender identification at the individual, group, and social levels. Together we will study how the differences in gender identity and roles are connected to cultural, historical, family, and other factors. By bringing together different cultures in a group-analytical environment we aim to foster a new perception of the Masculine and the Feminine in the modern world.
The program will include oral presentations, panels, workshops, large and medium groups, a Social Dream Matrix.
The Conference will be held in St. Petersburg, one of the most impressive and beautiful cities in the world, and a cultural center with a vast tradition and fascinating history.
We will be meeting in June, during the White Nights season, when the sun never sets, and the city is alive 24 hours a day. We will experience the city’s festivals, activities, concerts, museums, restaurants and shops via tours organized by the conference staff.
The event is an opportunity to meet with colleagues from various countries and discuss group analysis and other matters.
The languages of the conference will be English and Russian.
